Synopsis
During Apollo 17's 1972 space exploration mission to the moon, humanity found a strange hypergate that led to Mars. Upon entering the gate, the astronauts discovered an ancient technology known as 'Aldnoah,' which would soon cause mass migration to the planet, resulting in the creation of the Vers Empire to govern Mars. Descendants of this new civilization grew to resent Earthlings for their bountiful resources. These feelings led to a declaration of war, an event that ended with the hypergate's destruction in what would come to be known as the infamous 'Heavens Fall.' The effects were catastrophic, causing the obliteration of the Moon and irreparable damage to Earth through multiple meteor impacts, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Fifteen years later, a ceasefire has established a fragile peace, and Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia arrives on Earth in order to promote lasting friendship between the two races. However, not everyone is satisfied with the abrupt end of the first battle; certain forces have been waiting for such a moment in order to ignite the spark that will lead to a new war. When a group of terrorists attempts to assassinate the young princess, Martian soldiers retaliate by launching an assault, descending from space ready to enslave Earth's inhabitants once and for all. ***************************************************************************** I watched the anime before reading the manga and i have to tell it is amazing. It follows well the anime story even if it misses some scenes or texts. But i recommend it to anyone who loved Aldnoah Zero For the season 1 : 12 episodes there are 4 volumes each doing 3 episodes there are none for season 2 right now but i think they will release it in the future Thanks a lot to Olympus Knights for the story and Pinakes for the illustrations :) ***************************************************************************** Here is the plot for those who wanna read: In 1969, an ancient alien hypergate was discovered on the surface of the moon. Using this technology, humanity began migrating to Mars and settling there. After settlers discovered additional advanced technology, the Vers Empire was founded, which claimed Mars and its secrets for themselves. Later, the Vers Empire declared war on Earth, and in 1999, a battle on the Moon's surface caused the hypergate to explode, shattering the Moon and scattering remnants into a debris belt around the planet. Cut off from Mars, the remnants of the Vers Imperial Army established several massive orbital space stations within the debris belt and a ceasefire was established. 15 years later, in 2014, an attack on the Vers princess during a peace mission causes the Empire and its 37 clans of Orbital Knights to launch a new attack on Earth, this time determined to conquer it once and for all

Aldnoah.Zero was announced on February 15, 2014, as a project headed by Nitro+, with animation by A-1 Pictures and TROYCA. It was created by Gen Urobuchi and is directed by Ei Aoki, 11 with mechanical designs by Kenji Teraoka, characters by Masako Matsumoto, and designs by Takako Shimura. In all, the reason why Aldnoah Zero went to shit during season 2 was just poor planning. Nope, it was really bad writing and no care for characterization, with all the effort being put on hollow battles full of silly tactics, plot devises, shock effect, and cheap victimizing.
